Saribung expedition  is popular trekking peak in Mustang region. Saribung peak climbing (6346m) located in Damodar himal range close on Nepal Tibet border in the corner of Upper Mustang trekking trails. Saribung pass trekking offer beautiful Himalayan views of Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Mt. Manaslu 8163m, Mt. Annapurna 8091m with 24 snowy capped mountains of three different trekking destination , The last forbidden kingdom of Nepal mustang, beautiful landscape , mixed culture & challenging saribung pass. Saribung expedition  has opened by Nepal government in 2006. Himalaya Journey Trekking & Expedition designed  the Saribung expedition with exploration of  Nepal restricted  trail - Upper Mustang trekking & Nar phu valley trekking at once for Nature lovers trekkers.

                   Saribung peak climbing begins from Besishar after 5-6 hours drive from Kathmandu. Himalaya Journey Treks & expedition led through beautiful valley of Annapurna circuit trekking trail until Koto then trail continue ascend till Nar Phu valley . Trail continue ascend to Saribung pass and enter in the Mustang with anti clockwise route but trekkers may enter from Jomsom Mustang lo Manthang und Saribung pass end at Besishar. We HJT arrange as per trekkers wish and holiday frame. Autumn & spring is best time trekking in Mustang saribung but HJT arrange trip around the year. Saribung Expedition itinerary 2021/2022:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu 1334m, transfer to hotel, Saribung expedition briefing with officially arrangements . overnight in Kathmandu. 

Day 02: After breakfast,   relaxing / shopping  or excursion with your own activities and prepare for the Saribung expedition  because this day is required to make saribung  peak climbing permit with your  original passport. Overnight at kathmandu .

Day 03: After breakfast,  Kathmandu by bus or by private vehicle drive to Besishar (823m) , drive approximately 5-6 hours and trek to Bulbule (967m). walk approximately 3 hours

Day 04:  Bulbule trek to Jagat (1314m) walk approximately 5-6 hours 

Day 05: Jagat trek  to Dharapani (1860m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 06: Dharapani to Koto (2637m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 07: Koto to Meta (3650m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 08: Meta to Khyang (3820m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 09: Kyang to Phu (4080m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 10: Phu to Tsharin (4615m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 11: Tsharin to Saribung Base Camp (4950m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 12: Acclimatization day in Saribung Base camp 

Day 13: Saribung Base Camp to Saribung High camp /Glacier Camp (5425m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 14: Saribung High camp – Saribung Summit (6328m) – the other side Saribung BC (5600m) 10hrs walk O/N camp

Day 15: Cross Saribung La (6042m). Trek to Damodar Kund (4890m). walk approximately 7-8  hours

Day 16: Damodar Kunda to Bas Khola (5074m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 17: Bas Khola to Yara (3670m). walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 18: Yara to Lo-Manthang (3810m). walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 19:  Acclimatization or Rest day in Lo-Manthang. During this, you can make sightseeing or excursion tour around Mustang King palace and monasteries.

Day 20: Lo-Manthang to Tsarang (3560m). walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 21: Tsarang to Ghami (3520m). walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 22: Ghami to Samar (3660m). walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 23: Samar to Chhusang (2980m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 24: Chhusang to Kagbeni (2810m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 25: Kagabeni to Jomsom (2720m) walk approximately 4-5 hours

Day 26: Jomsom  by flight to Pokhara (915m). fly approximately 25 minutes, transfer to hotel., overnight at pokhara.

Day 27: After breakfast, by tourist bus or by flight back to Kathmandu. Drive approximately 5-6 hours and by flight 45 minutes only. Overnight at Kathmandu.  

Day 28: After breakfast, Himalaya Journey tour guide will take to for historical monuments sightseeing in kathmandu valley such as Boudhhanath visit Bodhnath Stupa, one of the best Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the stupa than visit Pashupatinath the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here you see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. Kathmandu durbar square: you will enjoy with different Hindus Temple , Goddes Kumari, legend of kathmadu valley etc and in the evening farewell dinner in Nepalese Restaurant, overnight at kathmandu in Hotel.

Day 29: After breakfast, Relaxing/shopping with own activities , Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition's representative will drop to Kathmandu international airport for onward journeys or if you have time to stay in Nepal will arrange any other trip such as Chitwan Junlge safari tour, Lumbini tour, Chitwan jungle safari tour , river rafting etc.
