Mt. Kula Kangri expedition

Mt. Kula Kangri expedition is newly opened expedition trip in Tibet. Kula Kangri climbing offer beautiful Himalayan views of Mt. Everest 8848m, Mt. Cho Oyu 8201m, Mt. Shishapangma 8035m, Tibet potala palace, Jhokhang temple, Bharkhur street , Tibetan Monasteries and nomad lands of Tibet. Mt. Kula Kangri (7538m)located between Tibet and Bhutan border and it is an attractive and stunningly beautiful peak for the climbing. Since Kula Kangri climbing has been open we Himalaya Journey Trekking arrange numerous groups for relevant peak climbing. 

Mount Kula Kangri expedition take to you central part of the Tibet. Goood physical fitness and climbing experience required for climbing the Kula Kangri but our professional  climbing guide cater to you top of the Kula Kangri . Minimum 37 days required climbing Kula Kangri peak but we can arrange express Kula kangri peak climbing with in one month. Normally May, June, July & August month are best time for climbing Kula Kangri peak climbing but we Himalaya Journey Trekking arrange around the year as per mountaineers wish and holiday frame. 

Mt. Kula Kangri expedition itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff & transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Day for Tibet visa procedure.

Day 03: Free in Kathmandu.

Day 04: Fly to Lhasa, meet our staff & transfer to Hotel.

Day 05: Sightseeing: Lhasa, Drepung, Sera & Norbu Lingka monasteries.

Day 06: Sightseeing in Lhasa, Potala Palace, Jokhang and Barkhor market.

Day 07: Drive to Kula Kangri Base Camp (350Km).

Day 08 – 10: Stay at Base Camp for acclimatization.

Day 11–31: Kula Kangri 7538m. Climbing Period.

Day 32: Trek Back to Base Camp.

Day 33: Drive to Shigatse.

Day 34: Drive to Zhangmu.

Day 35: Drive back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.

Day 36: After breakfast, Himalaya Journey tour guide will take to for historical monuments sightseeing in kathmandu valley such as Boudhhanath : visit Bodhnath Stupa, one of the best Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the stupa than visit Pashupatinath: the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here you see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. Kathmandu durbar square: you will enjoy with different Hindus Temple , Goddes Kumari, legend of kathmadu valley etc and in the evening farewell dinner in Nepalese Restaurant, overnight at kathmandu in Hotel.

Day 37: After breakfast, Relaxing/shopping with own activities , Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition's representative will drop to Kathmandu international airport for onward journeys or if you have time to stay in Nepal will arrange any other trip such as Chitwan Junlge safari tour, Lumbini tour, Chitwan jungle safari tour , river rafting etc.

Expedition Cost Includes:

  • All land transportation by Van, Land Cruiser, Jeep, Hiace or, Mini Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport & expedition pick up & drop).
  • Accommodation in Kathmandu for 5 nights at bed and breakfast basis.

Expedition Cost Doesn’t Include:

  • Airfare: To & from your country.
  • International airport departure tax.
  • Nepal entry & Re-entry visa fee (can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
  • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
  • Hotel after 5 night stay in Kathmandu.
  • Oxygen bottles, mask and regulator for expedition use (Poisk Oxygen System).
  • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical, emergency evacuation and lost luggage.
  • Applicable permit fees & customs charges, etc. for personal SAT phone, Walkie-Talkie communication equipment & commercial filming.
  • Porters and transportation in case of natural calamity.
  • Nepal custom duty charges for import of expedition goods.
  • Extra yaks if required.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, postage, telephone etc.

Summit Bonus for climbing Sherpa: Per Sherpa-USD 500 for over 7000m, USD 700 USD for up to Summit.
