Types of Trekking
There are mainly two types of trekking
which can be done in Nepal.
a. Tea
House Trekking
b. Camping/Tented
Trekking
Tea House Trekking:
Tea

Trekking area such as Annapurna,
Langtang, or the route to Everest, where overnight at the best available lodge around
the area. All the necessary trekking gear is carried by porters and the route is led by the professional guide. We provide all
l the necessary high quality equipment like sleeping
bags, water bottle during the trek. Three meals (breakfast,
Lunch, Dinner), accommodation and staff insurance
are included. Treks begin from 7 to 8 am. Before we
start, we provide hot drinks tea/coffee/hot chocolate
and then a nutritious Breakfast. Lunch is provided
between 11 to 12 am and the day usually ends around
3 to 4 pm.
Camping/Tented Trekking
Camping/
Tented trekking is one, which is self sufficient,
where we take along all the necessary food and camping
equipment. You only need to carry a small-lightweight
backpack with a water bottle, camera and your day
clothes. The day usually begins around 6am with tea,
coffee, or hot chocolate served to you in front of
your tent. After your tea and after you have freshened
up, you pack up your personal gear and then have breakfast.
While you are eating, the Sherpas take down the tents
and pack up loads for the porters. The entire group
is on the way about 7 am. The porters are slower and
the cook crews (Sherpas) race ahead to have lunch
waiting for the groups arrival. Lunch is usually around
11or 12. Most treks usually end by early afternoon
(often by 3pm). And once again, everything is prepared
and waiting for you: your tent is set up and the kitchen
crew again has tea prepared. And of course, a delicious
meal is just around the corner! Later on you have
free time to either relax or read a good book or explore
the surrounding area. |
