5663m, situated at the heart of Annapurna Sanctuary/
Annapurna base camp is an attractive mountain which offers
not only enjoyable climbing but also serves as one of the
outstanding viewpoints of Annapurna massive. Despite its lowly
magnitude, the summit offers superb panorama of Annapurna
I, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Annapurna V, Machhapuchhare
(Fish tail), Hiunchuli, Singu Chuli and Gangapurna. A guided
ascent of Tent Peak offers an excellent introduction into
Himalayan mountaineering. Situated in the heart of the Annapurna
Sanctuary /Annapurna Base camp , it combines easy access with
straightforward and enjoyable climbing. From the summit you
have magnificent views of the nearby 7000 to 8000 m peaks
making up the Annapurna south, Hiunchuli, as well as beautiful
Machhapuchhare, /Fishtail Mountain and many others. We further
climb easy snow slopes and then more steep climb requires
to gain the board ridge. From the ridge we climb steeply on
a knife-edged ridge which finally leads to the summit |
