Mt. Kanchenjunga trekking is one of the wilderness trekking trail in Nepal which provides an opportunity to see panoramic views of Himalayas from every direction such as Mount Kanchenjunga (8598), Drohmo (6850m), Nupchu (6690) and Jannu (7710m) , lush valleys , beautiful landscape, green jungle , wild animals etc. Mt. Kanchenjunga 8586m is the third highest mountain in the world and the second highest in Nepal. Kanchenjunga is translated along the lines of "Five Treasures of the snow".Kanchenjunga is in the far north eastern corner of Nepal and borders with India and Tibet. Trekking in Kanchenjunga allows you views of the mountains rimming Tibet and also Mount Everest and the Khumbu region. Kanchenjunga trekking trail is less frequented area gives the trekker the chance to take in the remoteness, peace and tranquility if the wilderness as well as experience a unique blend of Tibetan and northern Indian cultures. Kanchenjunga area is surrounded by the Kanchenjunga conservation park and is home to some of them the most beautiful and least explored mountains in the world.
Kanchenjunga region trekking required special trekking permit which you can obtain through legal trekking agency of Nepal. Only since 1988 have a limited number of commercialized trekking parties been allowed to explore the mountain's immediate environs. To reach the Kanchenjunga base camp / Kanchenjunga circuit trekking , there are two option either kathmandu by bus /private vehicle to Basantapur and fly out from suketar Taplejung or Kathmandu by flight to suketar Taplejung and fly out from suketar Taplejung . Day 02: After breakfast, our tour guide will take to you for historical monuments sightseeing around kathmandu valley such as Bhkatapur, pasupatinath, Boudhhanath, kathmandu durbar square & Swaymbhunath(monkey temple) and prepare for the Kanchenjunga trekking because this day is required to make Kanchenjunga trekking permit with original passport. Day 04: Dharan Bazaar drive bus to Basantpur 2200m .Overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 05: Basantapur Trek to Gupha pokhari 1876m. Overnight at Tented Camp.
