Rajasthan, the 'Land of Princes' is blessed with awe-inspiring
monuments to a fierce warrior past. The magnificent forts
of Jodhpur and Jaipur bear testament to the battles that once

in Udaipur, Fatephur Sikri and the world famous Taj Mahal
offer a glimpse of a softer side to North India's rich history.
Cycling through the villages and towns we witness the timelessness
of rural India, seemingly unchanged for centuries. From Jodhpur
our journey takes us first to the beautiful lakeside city
of Udaipur, 'The Pearl of Rajasthan' and on to the holy town
of Pushkar, set amidst desert scenery. Leaving the desert
behind we ride to Jaipur, site of the Palace of the Winds
and impressive City Palace, whose pink sandstone walls are
overlooked by the splendid hilltop Amber Palace. A visit to
Northern India would not be complete without a chance to see
Kipling's elusive tiger and Ranthambore, former hunting reserve
of the Maharajas, is one of the best national parks to do
this. We finish our journey at the serenely beautiful Taj

moving sun never fails to impress
